By splitting your video, you can trim out unwanted sections or rearrange parts of your recording.
- Open the video editor: Click this button to open the video editor.
- Position the playhead: Click anywhere on the timeline to place the playhead (the white vertical line) at the point where you'd like to split the video.
- Split the Clip: Click the Split button in the toolbar at the top. This divides your video into two separate clips at the playhead's position.
- 💡 Tip: You can split a clip multiple times to isolate specific sections, then delete the unwanted parts to clean up your recording.
- Select a Clip: Click on the clip you want to work with. It will appear highlighted with a border, showing it's selected.
- Delete or Reorder: You now have two options:
- Delete — Click the Delete button in the toolbar to remove the selected clip entirely.
- Reorder — Click and drag the selected clip left or right along the timeline to change the order of your clips.
- Save Your Changes: When you're happy with the result, click Save changes in the top right corner. To discard your edits, click Cancel.
