Zoom + Airtime: Best Practices

When using Airtime Camera or Airtime Creator with Zoom, check these settings to avoid unwanted visual effects and maintain the highest quality from the Airtime virtual camera feed.

Mac: Also review these settings on macOS if the camera preview in Zoom appears different from Airtime.

  1. Video quality: In Zoom Settings > Video, turn on HD video and Maintain original ratio for the best image quality.
  2. Auto-framing: Ensure Auto-framing is turned off to prevent unwanted cropping of the Airtime virtual camera feed.
  3. Backgrounds and filters: Select None under both Virtual backgrounds and Video filters to make sure no effects are applied to the Airtime virtual camera feed.
