Airtime Creator lets you put your own text, images, or video on top of a chapter of your recording. Text is added as a title card — a card you type yourself and style.
Add a title card (your own text)
- In the video editor, move the playhead to the chapter you want, then click Add overlay.
- The Media Library opens. Click New title card.
- The Title card editor opens with placeholder text selected. Type your text. Press Return for more than one line.
- Style it using the toolbar:
- Color — choose one of ten styles. Light styles are a solid colour; dark styles are a gradient.
- Size — Small, Medium, Large, or X-Large.
- Bold, Italic, and Strikethrough.
- Alignment — left, centre, or right.
- Click Save.
Your title card is added to that chapter, and saved to your Media Library — you can reuse it on another video from the Title cards filter.
Add an image or video overlay
- Move the playhead to the chapter you want, then click Add overlay.
- In the Media Library, drag a file onto the panel, click Browse computer, or pick something you've used before. You can upload JPEG, PNG, HEIC, and video files.
- Use the sidebar filters — All media, Image, Title cards, Video — to narrow the list.
- Select what you want, then click Add.
Adjust an overlay
- Change how long it shows — drag the left or right edge of the overlay. The minimum is half a second.
- Move it — drag the overlay along the chapter.
- Fill or Fit (images and video only) — click the overlay and choose Fill to cover the whole frame, or Fit to show all of it with a background around the edges. Choosing Fit lets you pick that Background colour.
- Edit a title card — click the overlay and choose Edit title card.
- Remove it — click the overlay and choose Delete, or select it and press Delete.
Once a chapter has an overlay, the Add overlay button becomes Edit overlay.
