If it's your video, you can download its whole transcript as a file. To copy the transcript into a document, an email or another app, download it as plain text (.txt) and copy the text from that file.

⚠️ Note: Only the owner of a video can download its transcript. If someone shared a video with you, you can read the transcript in the Transcript panel beside the video.
- Open your video and click the More options button (…) in the top right corner.
- Hover over Download transcript.

Choose a format:
- Plain text (.txt) — to read, edit or paste into a document
- SubRip (.srt) or WebVTT (.vtt) — subtitle files with timings, for other video players and editors
The file downloads to your computer, named after your video's title.
"Still transcribing" or "No transcript available"
The transcript is created after you finish recording. If you see "Still transcribing", try again in a few minutes. If you see "No transcript available", the video may have no speech to transcribe.
