You can put an Airtime video directly on your own website or blog, so people watch it there instead of following a link.
Before you start
Get the embed code
- Open the video and click Share.
- Click Embed.
- In the Embed video panel, choose a size:
- Automatic size (selected by default) — the video scales to fit whatever space it's in.
- Fixed size — set an exact Width and Height. Defaults to 853 × 480.
- If your video has chapters, tick Show chapter timeline to include them in the player.
- Click Copy, then paste the code into your site's HTML.
You'll also see an Embed option with a Get Code button on the screen shown right after you publish a video.
Copy the whole snippet
If you chose Automatic size, the code is a <div> wrapped around the <iframe>. Copy all of it. The <div> is what makes the video scale correctly — pasting only the <iframe> will make the video collapse or display at the wrong height.
What viewers see
The embedded player shows your video with playback controls, its title and author, and a share icon. Comments, reactions and transcripts aren't included — those stay on the Airtime page.
The video doesn't play automatically; viewers press play.
Views from your embedded video are counted, so plays on your site show up in the video's view count along with plays on Airtime.
