Learn how to quickly set up and record your screen with Airtime Recorder using this step-by-step guide.
Start recording
- Open the Airtime Home page (https://app.airtimetools.com). Select the Open button next to Recorder.
- Click Record new video in the top right corner.
- If prompted, grant Recorder camera and microphone permissions. This usually happens the first time you use Recorder.
- The "New recording" window will appear. Select your preferred camera and microphone, or turn either off if you don't need them.
- Choose what you want to record by selecting one of the following options:
- Entire screen
- Window
- Selected area (desktop app only)
- Browser tab (Chrome only)
- Camera only
- (Optional) Expand the Options menu to toggle the following settings before recording:
- Show cursor: Enable to include your mouse cursor in the recording.
- Record system audio: Enable to capture all sounds playing on your device (music, notifications, app sounds, etc.)
- Click Record.
Controls during recording
- To restart: Click Restart to discard the current recording and begin a new one.
- To open your camera in a pop-up window: Click Open in pop-up.
Stop recording
- Click Stop.
- Your video will begin uploading.
- Once the upload is complete, you can play the video, edit its title, and add a description if necessary.
- Your recorded video will be saved and accessible from the My videos list in Recorder.
